Does anyone have a problem with their BoA account

Please, I got a Bank of America account number on my payoneer, and I was going to get my first payment from a company in the US, I was later told by my contact that my account number couldn't be found, I have an account number that has 17 digits number and I think the standard for a Boa account is 12 digits.
Please how can I fix this or how can I get money with this same account number.
